On 7th September 2024, a significant religious event, the Khatme Nabuwwat (Finality of Prophethood) conference, was held at the Government High School Jhangra. The conference was organized to reaffirm the Islamic belief in the finality of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to address the challenges and misconceptions surrounding this critical aspect of the Muslim faith.
Keynote speaker Mr. Syed Mubashir Shah (Religious Scholar / General Secretary Almi majlis Tahfuz Khatm e Nabuwwat District Abbottabad) spoke at length about the historical context and the Quranic and Hadith references that affirm the belief in the finality of the Prophethood. The speaker highlighted that this doctrine is central to the Islamic faith and is unanimously accepted by all major Islamic schools of thought.
The event concluded with prayers for the continued strength and unity of the Muslim Ummah in their faith and practices.
